The Water Youth Network

The Water Youth Network

(WYN)

Is a global connector in the water sector, made up of a vibrant community of students and young professionals and across disciplines. The Water Youth Network is neither an implementation organization nor a fund, but rather an organization that encourages and enables the connection of young individuals and organizations within and beyond the water sector. We value initiative, innovation, inclusion, community, and a collaborative spirit.

YouKnow!

YouKnoW!

Started as a special project of the WYN, YouKnoW! is a virtual space for collaboration founded on collective wisdom towards today’s water challenges. It’s an online centralized dynamic database where youth-led organizations are able to connect with a vibrant community. Just with the click of a mouse on our interactive world map, you will have access to knowledge from projects aimed at solving water issue & sharing of successful and innovative water practices.

Research Lab

Research Lab

Within the YouKnow! project, further supporting tools have been set up for developing a bottom-up structure aimed at fostering youth-led projects from scratch. The Research Lab is one of these and its purpose is to provide useful sources (i.e. data, courses, news, technology, knowledge, etc.) that can be used as a solid base to develop projects. The Research Lab can be updated with the sources you would like to share within the community, thus creating a dynamic and up to date database!

Ideas Incubator

Ideas Incubator

Building on the sources for the Research Lab, the Ideas Incubator provides a platform to catalyze cooperation and support youths in advancing their ideas for tackling water issues around the world. The Ideas Incubator will be hosting virtual water-related challenges. Its aim is to provide funding application advisors, crowdfunding support, consultants, invitations to conferences, or money for successful project concepts. We look forward to hearing your ideas during our next challenge!
